Pregnancy is a beautiful, transformative journey…The gentle curve of the belly, the graceful lines of a mother's silhouette, and the tender expressions of love and excitement – all these little details fade with time. Your future child won’t be able to know you in this way, unless you capture these priceless moments.
Personalize your shoot
Do you have any personal elements you want to incorporate in your shoot? Be sure to bring those on the day of your studio maternity shoot. Some mothers might their ultrasound photos, anything that holds significance to you can add more of a personal touch to your maternity portrait gallery.

FRESH 48
Fresh 48s are some of my most favorite sessions! I love them because they are just that: pictures of a very fresh and new tiny baby usually done within the first 48 hours of life! Babies change SO MUCH in those first few days, so I love being able to capture that precious newness and their tiny features.
The best time for Fresh 48 sessions are during daylight hours, usually in the morning (starting your session between 9am - 1pm (time of the year dependent) usually gives the best light and happiest little one. The earlier the better as they may still be sleepy.
What if my baby is in the NICU? NICU Fresh 48s are absolutely an option, as long as your hospital’s NICU allows for a visitor (other than mom/dad) and a photographer!

Questions, and Answers
When is it best to schedule Maternity?
For the best baby bump, I recommend towards the end of the second trimester. However, in some circumstances mom may show sooner or have a schedule and have a need to move the appointment up. From bump to newborn we are on baby time!
Do you shoot on location for these sessions?
While I do newborn sessions in-studio, I can do lifestyle sessions on location.
Maternity can be done at my outdoor location or in studio.
What do we need to bring?
If you have special outfits for fresh 48 or newborn sessions your welcome to bring them, however I have a variety of wraps, knits and props for use at the studio.
How do we see and order portraits?
Soon after your session you will recieve an online gallery to view your soft proofs. Minimal retouching will be completed at that time, small fixes. If you require extra retouching there will be a retouch fee ($5/image). After your online reveal, you will select favorites to create a folder and we will get you scheduled for a phone consult to discuss either an additional ordering session in studio for addition items or choosen items.
Do you have a price list?
Prices Are above per package/collection. Great news, we have updated and downsized to be more affordable so that we can create all the memories your family desires!
